The Fry Art Gallery is home to a nationally important collection of the work of artists who have lived and worked in North West Essex, and in particular in and around the village of Great Bardfield, close to Thaxted. The collection includes works by Eric Ravilious, Edward Bawden, John Aldridge and many other artists, from the 1930s onwards.
Enjoy an exclusive evening private view in the Gallery of the two current exhibitions: Art and Design and Interwoven lives – Marianne Straub, Great Bardfield and Friends, with a short introductory talk followed by music provided by pupils from Saffron Walden County High School. The ticket price will include a glass of wine.
