VOCES8 at Thaxted Festival

A unique opportunity to join with leading vocal ensemble VOCES8 to rehearse Gustav Holst’s choral work O God Beyond All Praising, to perform in tonight’s concert.

VOCES8 are educators and mentors as well as vocal performers. This event will give participants the opportunity to develop their technique and learn from leading singers. Holst’s choral work O God Beyond All Praising has been specially arranged by Paul Smith, and will be performed in the evening’s concert with VOCES8.

Please book in advance, so that a copy of the score and a listening link can sent beforehand. Tickets for this event can only be booked together with tickets for the VOCES8 concert at 7.30pm. Please select your concert ticket(s) and you will then be offered the workshop ticket(s). A reasonable level of music-reading and singing experience is required. The workshop is open to all voices: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass, and participants should be over 18. The number of places available will be limited.

Venue: Thaxted Parish Church.
Tickets: £15. Age 30 and under: £10.
Tickets are intended for singing participants only.
