Quartet film

Dustin Hoffman directs this 2012 film starring Dame Maggie Smith, Tom Courtney, Billy Connolly, Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon. Set in a home for retired musicians, the annual concert to celebrate composer Giuseppe Verdi’s birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean (Maggie Smith), an eternal diva and the former wife of one of the other residents.
