Haydn: Kleine Orgelmesse

We are pleased to revive a tradition from earlier Festivals of presenting a choral sung Mass in Thaxted Church within the regular Sunday service. The Chamber Singers of Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, will perform Haydn’s delightful Kleine Orgelmesse as part of the regular Sunday Mass. The setting will bring to the fore the church’s restored Lincoln Organ, played by Tom Williamson.

Venue: The service will take place in the chancel of Thaxted Parish Church. No charge and no reservations; church collection.

“The whole Thaxted Festival Team are brilliant, making everyone feel welcome, and the whole atmosphere is light-hearted and enjoyable.”
