London Handel Orchestra comprises some of the finest baroque players in the country and has a reputation for historically-informed performances. It is central to the Handel Festival at St George’s Church in Hanover Square – known as the Handel Church. This concert includes some of Handel’s own favourite compositions, as well as a rare opportunity to hear a Vivaldi recorder concerto and the concerto grosso style Brandenburg Concerto with violin and recorder as the solo group.
