Our office at 10a Watling Street, Thaxted CM6 2PE is normally staffed during the week, with specified opening hours around the Festival season for ticket sales in person. Email is monitored regularly.

Find Thaxted Festival

Thaxted Festival takes place in the beautiful Essex town of Thaxted, easily accessible from the M11 & Stansted Airport. Our venues include Thaxted Parish Church, CM6 2PE, and Thaxted United Reformed Church, Bolford Street, CM6 2PY.

The town’s main free car park is in Margaret Street, CM6 2QN. There is an additional free car park in Park Street CM6 2ND and overflow parking is at the Recreation Ground, Newbiggen Street CM6 2QT (about five minutes’ walk).

Accessibility

All seated events are accessible for wheelchair and mobility users. Ramps are provided for access, and spaces are available to book for all concerts. The ticket price for a space includes one companion seat. Please call the Festival office to discuss any specific requirements, particularly in the context of our historic buildings.

Limited disabled parking for blue badge holders may be available at Thaxted Parish Church and Thaxted United Reformed Church by prior reservation, which must be made by telephone at the time of booking. (Please leave a telephone message on 01371 831421 when booking, and we will return your call as soon as possible.)
