Join us in Thaxted Church for the launch of our 2024 season. There will be wonderful singing from Wild Arts, including items from their new production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, which comes to Thaxted on 30 June.

Along with the music, hear about our full summer programme from Festival Artistic Director Andrew Jenkins, and be the first to receive our season brochure. There will be a glass of wine to help us enter into the summer atmosphere. Booking for our summer season opens the following day, for Thaxted Music Lovers.

Wild Arts performed Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love to great critical acclaim in our 2023 season. (★★★★★ Opera Now, ★★★★ The Guardian). They return in summer 2024 by popular demand, so don’t miss the chance to hear four of their singers with a string quintet at our launch event.

Tickets: £25.
Special price for those aged 30 and under: £10.

Claire Seymour, in Seen and Heard International.
“…this was a wonderfully enjoyable and engaging performance that really punched above its weight. The audience in Thaxted clearly loved it and were fully engaged, whilst this experienced reviewer was carried away as well.”

“2 terrific concerts I heard with London Mozart Players.”

“I think Gustav is smiling down to see how his memory and that of his best friend and colleague Ralph Vaughan Williams are honoured by the expertly played pieces they both composed.”
