Thaxted Parish Church’s historic restored Lincoln Organ takes centre stage once again for our lunchtime recital by one of today’s leading musicians. Iain Farrington is a prolific organist, pianist, composer and arranger. His Raggle Taggle Tunes were composed for a Thaxted Festival commission in 2024 especially for the Lincoln Organ. His work spans classical, music theatre, opera and jazz, pop and folk repertoires. He has composed a work for King Charles III’s coronation, carols for the Choir of the Chapels Royal, London, arrangements for Anna Lapwood’s Royal Albert Hall appearances, and has recorded his own choral works with the BBC Singers.
