West End Swings

Sam Every is an arranger, conductor and drummer whose Big Band is firmly established on the UK jazz scene, with sell-out shows at London jazz clubs, including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Pizza Express Jazz Club, and appearances at the Royal Albert Hall and other leading venues. The energy and creativeness of this young talent is distilled in the Sam Every (Little) Big Band, who bring a wide range of favourite standards to their Thaxted Festival debut. For a flavour of the programme, expect songs from musicals such as The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Annie, West Side Story, and many more, all performed in Sam’s stunning new arrangements. A toe-tapping evening which will leave you humming your favourites and wanting more!
