Docklands Sinfonia
Spencer Down, musical director

We all have our favourite movies – and it’s the musical scores which are such a central part of the experience. Whether highlighting emotion, building tension and excitement, or offering peacefulness and release, it’s all there in the huge body of music by leading composers.

Docklands Sinfonia is a diverse, dynamic and versatile orchestra who work across film, classical, rock and pop genres to bring these scores to life. Based in the nearby London Docklands community, they have performed on TV and radio, at Buckingham Palace, and under the Thames at Tower Bridge!

Bring the whole family for a cross-generational last-night at the movies experience from this powerful big band. Don’t forget that tickets are only £5 for age 18 and under, and £10 for age 30 and under.

This concert is sponsored in memory of Denys and Marie Stott, through their generous bequest.
